Ras Malkam, born and raised in Montego Bay jamaica residing now in Brampton Ontario. As a child he always had love and appreciation for music. Growing up listening to dancehall cassette and different cultural artists like: Brigadier Jerry, Charlie Chaplin, Early B (The Doctor) and his all time favorite, Mr. Garnett Silk. It’s safe to say he was easily influenced. He started to write his own music and became, Ras Otis I. his first single was '‘ Supposed to Do’’ which dropped back in the in early to mid 2000’s. And he became more known in the Cultural Reggae world in Toronto. As the years went by his song books got more full, but, Otis, no longer was.

He took a break from his rise to fame for a bit to further his knowledge on Righteousness. Which in detail involved, deep meditation. With his mind, body and soul, on one high level of righteouness, his goal is to continue to write music that will uplift, empower, and liberate humanity.
